ఉప్పు కప్పురంబు నొక్క పోలికనుండు

చూడ చూడ రుచుల జాడవేరు 

పురుషులందు పుణ్యపురుషులు వేరయా 

విశ్వదాభిరామ వినురవేమ

Meaning: Though both salt and camphor looks a like, they tastes quite differently. In the same way, though all men looks same. Good people among them are apart.

My Take: This poem is mentioning the classic problem a human faces on day to day basis. That is how to identify good people among wicked. This is equally difficult always. This poem is also the most famous one by Vemana. I don't think there will be any educated Telugu person, who doesn't know this poem.
